The story says that the fall's name is after the dead swiss citizen Mrs Devis. According to the story she was having a bath with her husband when the flood rise from Fewa lake and suddenly swept her to death. So the fall's named Devis fall after that accident happened but the locals call it Davis Falls and Patale Chhango instead. Because for Nepali people Devi is known as an immortal god.Yearly many visitors come here and enjoy their trip. Davis Fall is very exciting place for photo shot and memorial day. Every visitor will feel the presence of Natural beauty.
