Bhojee Village

      In lamjung district of Nepal, there are 61 VDCs. And Bhojee is one of them. In the picture we can see Bhojee VDC 4 and 5. Almost all VDCs of lamjung is familiar with Gurung(cast) community and they follow Buddhism. Truly lamjung district is the largest Buddhist community of Gurungs all over Nepal. It's my bith place.

     Bhojee is very interesting place which lies in western of lamjung district and its situated in a slope of an mysterious hill-top. Being in such a slope irrigation is the main source of food for them. During their work almost every member of the family involve in their fields including child, teens, almost every one. So education is not taken so much important. However, various organization and fund investors are promoting the whole district. Hospitality, Schools, safety measures, safe drinking projects are lunched recently and their outcomes are very good.

Lamjung Himal

 Parche Camp site

  Tourism is a great source of income for locals of Parche village. In the past few years ago people were not so aware as now they are. People now engage in different income source like irrigation, raw products like woolen clothes, woolen bedsits, wooden materials. And they are making an good living. People now send their children to schools which are recently made. Many outsiders donate money for enlargement of the school and health post so that village dwellers could have an healthy life. But all credits goes to the tourism facility lunched in the spot.

  Every year thousands of tourist visit this place to enjoy the view of Lamjung Himal. To the north, when the sunrises from the east Lamjung Himal gets the shine(golden) and feels like you are just below a huge mountain made of gold. When you are here, you'll stood up your head and feel that you can touch this mountain with your fingers.

Nepal is an country of mountains and rivers. There's no doubt about Nepal's natural beauty, just they need some preservation. A visitor will know more about Nepal than reading articles. So I recommend all of you to be a part of Tourism Year Nepal 2011.

Glacier Lake : Kawache

Kawache

    This famous glaciers lake is situated in the Western Development Region, Gandaki Zone, Kaski District, above Sikles village of Nepal. It is an historical place for locals of sikles VDC believing that their ancestors lived here. 

To reach this glacier lake from Sikles VDC, we have to walk on foot for 6 hours.

Time for Orange

Every year I visit my village in festivals and ceremonies. Its really and cool place and i enjoy being in my birth place. When ever i go for a visit these oranges welcomes me and i can't stand to wait so i eat up some of them before they got really orange haha :-D. 

My village is full of Oranges in that time of year. I really want to thank to my grandpa as he I planted these trees so that I can have those fruits in my times. 

In Gurung tradition especially in villages, locals welcome their guest with available sources of food like these oranges. Like they talk and like they live is very exciting. The time i spend there will be memorial and for city dweller, it will be more fun to experience their style.

      Plantation of trees is an common discussion  for country like Nepal. Country of mountains and rivers, Nepal is  famous for natural resources and its habitats. Different species of trees, plants. medicinal herbs are available in our hills, mountain, and low lands too.

Those particular resources of forest are costly which creates a lot of black sales and emerge black markets with in the country for illegal sales. Rules and regulations are only found in papers but not in real action in Nepal. I wonder when will the government eye will catch such discussion ??

However, above picture is about the preservation of forest and natural resources.  The awareness about plantation of trees is very important in local areas of Nepal. Forest shows the real beauty of nature. Who will like a bare mountain? 

People should contribute first to have its benefit. So lets think about future and see what you will get. Nature is very helpful :-).

Davis Falls of Pokhara - Nepal

The story says that the fall's name is after the dead swiss citizen Mrs Devis. According to the story she was having a bath with her husband when the flood rise from Fewa lake and suddenly swept her to death. So the fall's named Devis fall after that accident happened but the locals call it Davis Falls and Patale Chhango instead. Because for Nepali people Devi is known as an immortal god.

Yearly many visitors come here and enjoy their trip. Davis Fall is very exciting place for photo shot and memorial day. Every visitor will feel the presence of Natural beauty.

Phewa Lake

Phewa Lake is located in the south-west of pokhara valley.  Every year thousands of tourists, local people  from different places visit phewa lake just to spend their weekend and for holidays

Famous "Barahi Temple" located at the middle of the lake is mysterious and no one knows how it came to be located there in the middle of the lake. But is helps and still helps to attract tourists and local people and formed as an best place to travel. To reach the temple traveler have to use boat made of local bamboo tree and other. 

Beside tourism phewa lake has helped local people a lot for their daily life and it has been an source of living for locals. Those people involve in fishing and irrigation for living. Frequent water facility will not create any problems for them. Through it, phewa lake is now famous for sea foods related to fish dishes and many more. 

Phewa lake still did alot for community. It helped a lot in promoting tourism  for Nepal. And we are enjoying our tourism year Nepal 2011 :)

Such an beauty of nature is like an heaven. Surrounded with green tall mountains and in their lap lay this beautiful lake which is like an god creation.

Surrounded with green mountains to all sides and rivers where beautiful dreams and achivements flow in people's mind. Its really somewhere like an Heaven, who may not want to be here?

As an city dweller of pokhara, I enjoy to be here. It's really an amazing place because i think it that way. People can enjoy in Lakes of pokhara travel to the historical places, mountains, just to experience and to be a part of it with the nature.

Some where river dug impressive canyons, water falls, lakes, and they are not man made things. Every thing here is really an art of nature. People will sure be lost in it, an exciting place and happiness in ur every steps into it.
